Pudo (Pick Up Drop Off) Service

Pudo is a smart locker delivery system that can be used to send an item anywhere in the country (there are 1200 lockers all over South Africa) if it is less than 20kg and fits into the locker. Each time you send a package (only 1 package per locker) it will cost between R50 and R200, depending on the size of the locker selected (from extra small, small, medium, large and extra large).

When receiving a package/parcel:

  • Recipients are instantly notified when they have a delivery, by text or email.
  • Once received, the recipient can pick up the package from the locker by using the unique pin code provided.
  • From the moment you receive the notification that your package has arrived; you have 36 hours to remove the package from the locker.
  • If you don't pick up your package within the deadline of 36 hours, it will be sent to the closest Pudo depot/kiosk.

When sending a package/parcel:

  • Download the Pudo App, register and top up your account (or on the Pudo website).
  • Book the collection and choose the size locker that you require (you only pay for the size selected).
  • Complete the delivery details of the person that you are sending to.
  • Place the parcel in the locker (you get a pin code to access the locker).
  • A driver picks up the parcel from the lockers and delivers to the Pudo locker or address of your choice.
  • The recipient receives a notification and a unique code to collect with.
